Snap! Raise Kickoff
Updated on 06/10/2022
Vikings! It is that time of year again. We will be kicking off our Snap! Raise fundraising campaign on February 7th @ 4 PM before practice. We will meet with our Snap! Raise rep, Chris Williams, and our Seniors will assist with making our campaign video. Our campaign will run for a month starting on February 15 and ending on March 15.
All players are required to participate and it is very important that you get this done. Please sign up on Snap! Raise (for those of you that are new to it) or log in (if you’ve used it before) using this link: http://www.snap-raise.com/join_code/522176917.
Watch this video for steps on how to login, or create an account, and pre-load your emails: https://vimeo.com/479649033/56b06a761d.
You will be directed to add your emails. The expectation is that every member of our team has 20 quality emails uploaded to your profile. Make sure your emails do NOT include students, teachers, fake emails, etc. and are only legitimate potential donors. The coaches will be tracking this information and holding every player accountable. There will be a Varsity vs Junior Varsity competition to see who raises the most money. The winning team will get a surprise from the coaches. There will be incentives for those that participate fully in this campaign, so please get this done!
Thank you for your time, attention and your participation. Our program is only as good as you are willing to make it. We appreciate all your hard work!

Beginning of Season Update
Updated on 06/10/2022
Greetings fellow Viking parents, returners, and new players,
The boys worked hard this off-season and for three days of tryouts and now the teams are selected. Congratulations to all of our new players for making the team and we look forward to meeting the parents soon. We are excited about the 2022 season. Here up some important updates:
Tuesday Feb 8th 6:00-7:00 pm is a mandatory Parent/Booster Club Meeting in the school cafeteria. Please plan to attend. I will be respectful of your time, but there are important things to be discussed and/or handed out and signed during the meeting. The boys will come home with their 2022 Soccer Contracts today. One of our foundational values with Spring Valley Soccer is accountability. The contracts are our way for the boys to understand our basic expectations/consequences for team violations. Please read them carefully, sign, and be ready to return at the meeting on Tuesday. The Booster Club will be selling some 2022 Spirit Wear. Also, we will feed the boys pizza on Tuesday during the meeting.
There is a $100 player fee this season that will cover both green and white game socks, warm up jackets, warm up pants, and post game meals for our away games at Fort Mill, Nation Ford, Wando, Rock Hill, and Northwestern. Since those will be long nights we wanted to make sure the boys had food.
Please plan to have the $100 player fee ready for the Booster Club at the meeting on Tuesday. The Booster Club is paying for both the green and black warm up shirts as their gift to the players this season.
Please read Coach G’s announcement about Snap! Raise. This is our primary fundraiser. We start soon and the boys need to have those emails.
Our Booster Club has spirit wear to buy on TUE night. The benefit of this is no supply chain delays. You get it TUE night and will have gear to wear at the first scrimmage! I have attached some photos of the four options you have, but it’s a grey Nike t-shirt ($30), a green Nike t-shirt ($30), a grey Nike hoodie ($44), and a green Nike hoodie ($44). All of them have our exclusive Viking Head Logo and, as the boys would say, they are “nice”.
We also have a team spirit store through BSN. The link will be live and taking orders until 2/14/2022. Big thanks to Jeri Boysia for getting this up and running for us. Here is the link: https://bsnteamsports.com/shop/ozgHbgJzvK
I am also proving a live link to our season schedule. The schedule is subject to change, however, I will be sure to update you if that happens. Here is the link: https://docs.google.com/document/u/0/d/1aav51Dh6PB0fxYZqxraKabCOMaxp3jQZ/mobilebasic
We also have a Sign Up Genius link. We need parents to help the boys by volunteering for certain events. We need to fill these slots ASAP. Big thanks to Katherine Johnson for getting this up and running for us. Here is the link: https://m.signupgenius.com/#!/showSignUp/8050444a5a722a57-spring
Checklist items for TUE, February 8th:
- The $50 athletic participation fee can be paid in person at the fees office at school OR online through powerschool (parent portal).
- The $100 player fee can be paid to the booster club to Jeri Boysia via check or her venmo. She will be available on TUE night.
- Picture Day is 2/14. The boys were sent home with picture forms from CSI yesterday.
- Seniors were sent senior banner forms as well ($89). Parents pay this fee.
- 2022 Soccer Contracts were sent home yesterday. Please read, sign, and be ready to return at the meeting on TUE.
