After two successful years under Hall of Famer Charlie Assey at Gray Collegiate Academy, Coach Tommy Satterfield comes to Spring Valley High School as the new head baseball coach of Spring Valley High School.  During his stint at Gray Collegiate Academy, he was part of a coaching staff that coached back-to-back region champions, Upper State Champions, and 2A State Runner-ups. With 25 years of experience in coaching, Coach Satterfield has made it his mission to positively impact as many players’ lives as possible.

Coach Satterfield is from Cayce, South Carolina, and a 1999 Graduate of Brooklad-Cayce High School.  He is the proud father of two children, Andrew and Lydia, and is recently engaged to 2005 Spring Valley Alumn, Megan Clark.

Coach Satterfield is excited to become part of the Viking family and community!
