On Saturday, May 20 the Spring Valley Boys Track and Field team won the 2023 5A SCHSL State Track & Field Championship! This makes BACK TO BACK years (2023 & 2022) the Spring Valley Boys Track and Field has won the 5A SCHSL State Track and Field Championship!

100m – Nigel Ancrum, 1st place, 10.33 – ALL STATE
200m – Nigel Ancrum, 1st place, 20.69 – ALL STATE
400m – Devan Crumpton, 3rd place, 48.00 – ALL STATE
110m Hurdles – Amir Joe, 4th place, 14.73 – ALL STATE
400m Hurdles – Chris Doby, 8th place, 57.23
4x100m Relay – Chris Doby, ,Nigel Ancrum, Devan Crumpton, Zion Fuller, 41.19 – ALL STATE
4x400m Relay- Tristan Williams, Devan Crumpton, Chris Doby, Nigel Ancrum, 3:18.45 – ALL STATE
High Jump – Caleb Cooper, 5th place (tie) 6-2
High Jump – Jordan Chestnut, 5th place (tie) 6-2
High Jump- Landon Drinkard, 8th place 6-0
Triple Jump – Jordan Chestnut, 3rd place 46-1.5
Triple Jump – Jaylen Bostic, 4th place 46-1
