Anne Long- 2008-20016

During her time leading the Lady Vikings, Coach Long had an overall record of 199-24.  Under her tutelage they won 7 region titles (‘09, ‘10, ‘11, ‘12, ‘13, ‘15, ‘16) and 4 South Carolina State Championships (‘09, ‘11, ‘15, ‘16).  

 

Coach Long was selected as the South Carolina Athletic Coaches Association (SCACA) Coach Of The Year four times.  She was awarded the 2010 WBCA Southeastern Coach of the Year.  In 2016 she was selected as the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Girls Basketball National Coach of the Year.

 

In 2011 she was Inducted into the South Carolina Basketball Coaches Association (SCBCA) Hall of Fame and in 2012 was inducted into the SCACA Hall of Fame.  2012 also led to her selection as Head Coach of the prestigious McDonald’s High School All-American game.
