Andre Roberts- 2006

While wearing the green and gold, Andre Roberts was a 3-sport athlete lettering in basketball, track and field, and football.

Roberts was a member of the 2003 State Championship Track and Field team as well as helping the Vikings to back-to-back State Runner-up finishes in 2005 and 2006.  In the 2006 Track and Field State Championships, Roberts earned All-State honors after a 2nd place finish in the 200m (22.03), 3rd in the 400m (48.6), and 4th in the 4x100m relay (42.61).

On the gridiron Roberts excelled as both a wide receiver and kick returner. In 2005 Roberts tied a school record with 3 punt returns for a touchdown.  Roberts was voted 2005 All-Area and All-Region and was selected to play in the North/South All-Star game where he was voted South Most Valuable Offensive Player.
