Harry Parone

In 1951 Harry Parone accepted the job of head coach of all sports at Dentsville High School.  During his 10 year career at Dentsville, Coach Parone won a South Carolina Basketball State Championship (1953) and was runner-up in baseball twice (1953, 1956).  Following his illustrious career at Dentsville High School Coach Parone became the Director of Athletics for Richland School District Two.  Coach Parone was inducted into the South Carolina Hall of Fame in 1995.

 

Coach Parone would go on to serve on the Board of Trustees for Richland School District Two including serving as the chairman.  In all, Coach Parone served the District for 50 years.
