Halston Taylor-1973

Halston Taylor was a standout for the Vikings Cross Country and Track and Field teams.  

 

Taylor helped lead the Vikings cross country team to a runner-up finish at the 1970 state meet as well as a State Championship in 1971 and 1972

 

During the 1971 State Track and Field Championships Taylor took 1st in the 400m.  Two years later in 1973 he was able to repeat as a state champion in both the 440yrd and the 880yrd.
