Mary Anne Cubelic-1979

Mary Anne Cubelic was a standout athlete for the Vikings lettering in basketball, track and field, volleyball, and softball.  

On the volleyball team Cubelic helped lead the Vikings to a 1977 region championship and a 1979 state runner-up finish.

Cubelic excelled on the hardwood leading Spring Valley to the 1978 4A State Championship.  She was voted to the All-State team as well as being voted South Carolina Player of the Year in 1977 and 1978.  Cubelic finished her stellar high school career by participating in the 1978 North-South All-Star game where she won MVP honors and was selected as a Prep All-American.
